Unlike a REIT, investing in NuEquity projects allows for direct ownership in title and as a result investors can take advantage of emerging 1031 market opportunities. Through years of experience, we have established relationships with marquis builders and developers across the United States. Each member of the NuEquity Builder/Developer Network (BDN) has completed a series of successful projects yielding positive returns and has a track-record of success. NuEquity was founded by Neil Underwood who currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Neil received his Bachelors Degree of Science in Industrial Engineering and in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. With 15 years experience in real estate investing, Underwood has dealt with many aspects of the real estate industry, including new home construction (subdivisions), triple-net leases (retail projects), residential rehabilitation and lease/purchase programs, and mortgage lending.
